When applying for a role, and the salary is listed as a range of 65-93k. Is the lower end the starting or is that the range of pay. For example, people at 65k are on low end, while people at 93k are high end? Should people be ask for the avg for compensation if that is the case?

I had a technical interview with IBM last wednesday and on thursday they had set up a managerial round for discussion. It went well and the manager asked me about my expectations. We had few discussion regarding the salary and finally I was told that HR will get back to me. It has been 4 days but I didn't receive any call from the HR. What’s the bar of passing the first round at McKinsey like? if I didn’t do well in the same part of a cases for both interviews (ie reading graphs for high level insights and implications) would that be even worse than having different performance across other areas (ie not doing well in A on case 1 but not doing well in B on case 2)? I thought the quant was fine but i dont think i did well on graph reading for either cases. Pei was also fine and so was the rest of the case

I applied to a job at KPMG and did the first two rounds of interviews, general interview, then case study and competency. Never before have I had such a positive feedback at the end of an interview of the 2nd, both said really like me, I did well etc.

Coming from another healthcare company as a SFA, does anyone have experience at either company? In the long term, does Atlassian look better on a resume/work experience due to the Tech/Software space?
