I completed my Diploma in Computer System Technician - Software Development and Network Engineering around 6 years ago. Then, I worked for 3 years as a Telecommunication technician. Afterward, I worked as a Financial Advisor for another 2.5 years. Now, I want to switch my career to IT. As I do not know my particular interest in IT I am applying for Entry-level IT jobs like Helpdesk Analyst, and Service Desk Analyst. But I am getting rejections from everywhere. AWS vs Cloudflare BDR roles

AWS lowballed but I negotiated to match Cloudflare. Cloudflare offers more equity but AWS has a higher base.

I love Cloudflare. The people are great but it’s an engineering culture and the sales team isn’t as well shaped up and I can’t go for a promotion until at least 18 months of tenure. I am an investor in the company and think of them super highly. I’ve already got half a years SDR experience and AWS promotes quicker.
