I completed the interview process for a UI/UX Designer role in November, which included screening, a task, and a final round. I was informed that I was shortlisted and that the offer letter would be issued in a few weeks due to a busy product launch period.

Recently, I found out that the person handling my process is no longer with the company and advised me to follow up with someone else for updates. I’m planning to reach out to get clarity on the situation.

The VP calls me to tell me I didn’t get position however he wants me to re apply in new year that something else will be open, and that he wanted to keep a copy of my resume what does this mean ? Should I apply again in new year or don’t bother ?
