I currently make 60LPA in Hyderabad and my firm has an offer for 150k in Chicago. Is it worth? I am generally happy with the package in India and have good savings as I own my house in Hyderabad and I am not a lavish spender. I have been onsite in US previously with an allowance but I did not go crazy over the so called American experience. Single earner with one kid.

I recently found out I was “promoted” or giving a higher title, same pay. I was told HR was updating employees titles based on the work they do… Is that even a thing?? My mid yr review is coming, should I just ask for more money?

Ours is every March but it is a variable number based on how we do the prior year (duh obviously) but also only my boss gets to decide and he gives no criteria on why he chooses what he does.
