I do quite well on 1-1 or small group conversations and I really enjoy most of them. However, at events with large gatherings, I’m constantly just stressed about talking to people. How do I survive this, especially given a lot of these large group events happen to be work-related?

Hi everyone, I got hired on as entry level sales operations role back in January. It quickly turned into sales, and eventually all the sales for the small company once the head of sales left. I am happy to take on the additional role for my company, and they are going to let me. But they feel that without multiple people in a sales department the title head of sales might not be the best title. I have input in what my updated position title and salary would be. Lowkey confused, I joined the firm in July and both my standard & adjusted utilization are at 50%. Is this good?

Our firm told everyone no bonuses this year due to the pandemic. However, people like myself with high utilization received a “bonus” in terms of a gift card. My director notified me of this, but the other day my boss was mentioning how no bonuses this year really sucks. I was told by the director to not mention it to anyone but I figured if anyone knew I got one it’d be my boss. I feel super uncomfortable now because do I essentially lie to my boss because I’m not supposed to talk about it.

I think I’m in a seggsual recession. Two quarters of negative growth
