Ask if there's an agenda available. Then suggest that times be allotted to help everyone stay on track to stick to time.
If its always going over. They can extend the time so everyone is prepared to stay late
I second that with the agenda and also if you can have a list of items for parking lot. That way you don’t go on about things that you don’t need to go on about.
I also tend to signpost participants to reference documents ahead of the meeting and attach these to the calendar invite. If people want to prepare for the meeting, fine, if not, you'll have to manage your expectations (without necessarily lowering your personal work ethics) and adapt.
