I was approached on LinkedIn for an early career recruiting role in DFW, TX. I don't have direct experience, but I have the university experience/connections from working in career services. This is the first time I've considered work outside of higher education. I said my salary expectations are minimum $90k and that didn't seem to be an issue. Am I asking too little, too much? How can I know I'm getting the best salary and not just settling at the low end of the range?

I’ve worked at places that all have different holiday policies. EA has at minimum a nice 10 day shutdown from Christmas Eve through New Years. It’s great to know that there will be no slack messages or an exploded inbox to come back to while away. I’ve been at other studios that only give you Christmas Eve & Day and New Years Eve & Day and then the rest is up to you to request for PTO and this is obviously the suck.

I’ll be taking a look at all the recent SPACs that had huge runs. The plan is to watch for momentum to start fading and play some puts at or around merger votes. A lot of these plays are priced to perfection on revenues 5+ years away. Will some make it big? Yes. Will some fail, yes. Also starting to watch the warrant exercise requirements. I just started a new job 2 months ago, benefits and PTO don’t start until 90 days in so I still have a month before I can take off any time, and today found out my company doesn’t offer paid maternity leave.

It means ICOs are no longer open to anyone. You have to be a certified investor with the SEC. This is why Filecoin is conducting their ICO with CoinList instead of on their own. CoinList ensures their ICO is only open to certified Wall Street investors and makes sure FileCoin's ICO is treated as a normal IPO.
