I feel like I’m in a slump right now. I have been trying to pass the cpa exams for almost two years now but it seems like nothing is working for me. Any suggestions on how I can get over this and push forward?

My biggest advice to you is don't lose hope. No matter how many times you have to take the exams, having that certification is worth it. I've been where you're at. It took me 2 years and 7 months to pass my exams. I took a total of 11 attempts. But now I'm a CPA and it is absolutely the best feeling, after trying for so long.

Re-evaluate the way you study. Have you passed any sections yet? What did you do differently on those than you are doing on the current ones? What are your strengths and weaknesses on the practice exams?

If one study material isn't explaining things the way that you'd hope for or the way that is clear to you, try a different course. I used Becker and Ninja together to get through my exams.

You will pass all of the exams. Don't let a failed exam deter you and don't let all the hard work go to waste. Keep going and soon enough you'll be a CPA.

Hello, I recently was reached out to by an in-house recruiter at a similar but slightly different company than the one I currently work for. The recruiter provided a base range and an OTE range. The lower end of that range is what I am currently making. The higher end of that range is almost 200k more than my current comp. The role is almost identical. I wasn’t looking to move, but that higher end range would set my family up very nicely for our goals. But I am happy at my current company. Help?
