I work 2 part-time jobs. I just requested a pay raise at my ABA job which they approved on by 10%. Any books/self help materials for someone who is constantly worrying (and waste a lot of unnecessary time)? E.g. No matter if i pass or fail an interview, there is always something to worry about. The worrying/anxiety multiplies when I proceeded further in the interview stages. Now that I signed the offer and is pending background checks, my anxiety is off the roof as it itches closer to my starting date.

Any non-fiction book recommendations? I normally don’t like NF but recently read Bad Blood by John Carreyrou and loved the style/pace. Any similar recs?

How do women prefer to be turned down if the guy they’re pursuing is not interested. I know men have the capacity to deal with rejection poorly, and I’m not suggesting otherwise. But in my anecdotal experience , women take the gentle “no thanks, not interested” poorly.

Has COVID-19 taught anyone that they don’t know how to cook/grocery shop/provide basic sustenance for themselves? Lol

In college/grad school I always had a meal plan which made it super easy to get food. Then right after grad school I went right into consulting which I’ve always expensed meals or eaten out.

Now being at home, I have to adult by finding and making food myself - this sucks! 🤣😫
