I served and I think this is hilarious

I have been given a verbal offer of 145k base for a Sr. Associate role as Data Analytics Lead. The offer doesn’t come with any kind of bonuses or stocks.
I have a Masters and 5+ years of exp and my current comp is 115.5k + approx 5k bonus + ~20k in stocks (yearly refreshes) which makes my total current comp to 140k.
Is it worth taking the offer for increase in just the base?
What are my chances of negotiating into a VP level role with at-least 155k?

Chief
Companies usually cannot hire someone from a different country because of tax laws. If you live in Nigeria and are applying to jobs in another country, they probably actually cannot hire you since you’re not authorized to work in their country. You would have to immigrate first. But if you’re looking for jobs in Nigeria, I am not sure what it’s like there so cannot comment.
I apply for remote mostly.
Most companies are not ready or willing for relocation.
I ready for a relocation, but I need to get a Job in the respectful country.
So thats why I go mostly on remote.
Here in Nigeria, my field are not been needed here.
Or i would say no local Job in my area of field.
Even working remotely in Nigeria for a company that does not have an office there is not common. US companies are not sponsoring h1b visas due to the $100k fee.
Yeah, that's the new visa law
Which is very discouraging.
But the US is not the only country on this planet.
Many others await skillful workers, like me.
But it's hard to find them.
