Food Story Time! I made matzo ball soup for lunch. Every time I make matzo ball soup, I think of Bubbie Ruth. She was my ex bf’s granny. The first time time I met Bubbie Ruth was the first time I tried matzo ball soup. She was cooking; I asked if I could watch. She used seltzer water and chicken schmaltz. Weeks later when we visited again. I offered to make her soup. She reluctantly said yes. I served it; she tasted. She was verklempt and said to her grandson, “Marry this goyem!”. 😂

Does having corporate NPS account make any difference? Ultimately we get 50k additional deduction only ,right? So between an employee giving a voluntary contri of 50k to an individual nps account and another whose employer's contri 50k to corporate account will give the same benefits, isn't this understanding correct?

Pizza! This dough recipe is so delicious and sooooo easy. I just used jarred pasta sauce, cheese, and whatever I have on hand. This time I mixed it up and mixed in some whole what flour. Seriously, so good. So easy. Make it once a week. See pics for start to end. First pic, just mixed it all together. Took 5 minutes will rise overnight.

Mediterrasian Soba Noodle Salad with Eggplant, Roasted Beets and Crunchy Tofu

Just made this because I had vegetables on their way out. I was inspired by Ottolenghi. Burst of colors, flavors and texture. Mediterranean meets Asia. Sautéed eggplants bell peppers with Italian seasoning, caramelized roasted beets and charred mini-heirloom tomatoes, crunchy garlic tofu, tossed with Soba noodles and Thai basil with a honey sesame nuoc cham dressing. Garnished with danmuji, peanuts and chives.
