Avoid Big4... May not have bad WLB in your practice or team.. But probability will be high that WLB is screwed
And here I am looking to switch to big4 from Mindtree.
Yes I have good WLB here, but I have seen people struggling and have very bad WLB depending on the project.
For me I have only 5 years of experience and , when I see many bad reviews about big4 specially about WLB, I only think that they have huge number of employees working there, and they are human only, so I also can adjust there
Chief
I would say EY GDS or Mindtree. I have seen the wlb generally tends to be continuously worse in the Indian tower of the big4s. For the Global services, its a 50-50. Mostly my friends are working happily there. Somedays yes its a stretch but usually its fine.
Mindtree is growing and they do provide the variables monthly so that goes in their favor out of the other service based firms.
Anyday Big 4 firms will add more value to your profile than Service based companies. But try to avoid big 4 if your priority is Work life balance, you might not get any work life balance after joining.
I would suggest you to consider Accenture if fixed component in the CTC for Accenture is same or higher than Mindtree. Otherwise you can consider Mindtree.
I would also suggest you to look for 2 things
1. Though CTC may be same for all of your offers, analyze which has the least variable pay and most fixed component.
2. Try to check how is the technology practice in each company for which you are being hired. Connect with people in LinkedIn to get the insights.
Ey gds
Avoid big4 , i work in Deloitte currently working 13 hours a day ! Pick your poison
How much EY is offering you?
Every company is offering almost same, numbers can to be misleading, so I'm not putting the number sorry, but all the 4 are offering the same.
Can you tell packagees of each company so I will very well explain you
So, As of my knowledge, make your first preference as Accenture then delloite and then EY GDS
Try for Product based companies as it's easy to enter at your experience level.
Don’t go for Big4 if WLB is even a small consideration in your list, I would suggest you to try for product based company in your remaining notice period time...If I had to choose between the options you provided, I would have selected Mindtree !!
Rising Star
Avoid delloite ...Analyst is entry level role there.
Go for mindtree
I'm also in same situation, there is huge confusion going on in my head. Lot of folks working in Big 4 are suggesting to avoid Big 4 companies since those are fast paced and aggressive in terms of work deliverables with no WLB. Please do let me know your decision and what all factors did u considered before making ur final decision.
EY GDS no doubt it has better wlb as well as repo
Do you know someone at EY GDS. If yes, which tech stack wlb was good as per your friend?
Just curious to know, how much Salary you are getting in 2 years of experience.. ?
But yes I can say go for wipro to learn and for good WLB.
I'm also looking for similar role with similar years of experience. Can you please help me, where and how did you apply for these roles? I'm struggling, can you help?
+1
Please ket us know how you ended up with five offers. What's your tech and any advice you have for associates who eagerly wants to switch
