I got a job as an ACD at a bigger agency and I feel more out of the loop than ever. Previously I worked as a senior in a smaller agency and I felt much more involved. I got more face time presenting, I was involved in decision making meetings. Now I’m just perpetually out of the loop and all that stuff is done by GCDs and ECDs. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal big agency behavior?

I’m interviewing for a start up and the role sounds interesting. Usually for the “test” part of the interview I’ve had to analyze data. This company wants me to develop a growth strategy that outlines key initiatives for growth, different opportunities, experiments I’d run, KPIs, and working cross-functionally.

Is this a lot for an interview?

I’m a little afraid of doing all this work to then just have them take my ideas and not hire me.

I been thinking about buying a 3bed and 3bath house or a condo. I haven’t had much luck in finding one so I started thinking about 4 bed and 3bath. I am single and I don’t have any plans to marry or have a partner staying with me. Is there anyone who’s single living in a 3 or 4 bed house by yourself ? At the beginning of quarantine, I was really depressed. I was drinking too much alcohol, eating too much junk food, and generally not in a good place. I realized I couldn’t continue like that so I started a plan to be healthier. As of today, I am down 11 pounds & am my lowest weight in years! It has been a slow weight loss but I am focusing on making sustainable lifestyle changes that I can keep up. I am so excited and proud!!

I have an associate's degree in graphic design and work designing wedding stationery. I've been at my company since 2016, and am now a design consultant - speaking to customers directly and creating custom artwork and designs for them. I know I'm underpaid (50k/year in the SF Bay Area) but I thought the benefits and stability were worth it.
