I got cleared till Google HC for SAP Architect position and but have been put on hold since last 1.5 months. HR says Team is re-evaluating the Head Count. Anyone has any idea what are my options in this case?

My final interview was scheduled for a associate solutions architect role back on the 24th when the recruiter emailed me and said they had to pause interview activity on the position due to some recent changes.

I have been at my company for 3.5 years. One year ago (2.5 years into my employment with them) they re-leveled everyone and I was bumped to an entry level position on the terms that they changed my job title when they re-leveled, so “technically” I am at the early stages of my new title. Even though the job duties did not really change.

Just became an ACD. Im in a limbo. Half of the time im being treated as a Super Senior AD and the other half im being treated as a Almost CD. Then when im scoped over work that my CD and I oversee, some people are asking me how does my role differ from the CD’s, as they tend to look at me as an unnecessary layer for approvals. We functioned as the Marketing team for 4 brands and primarily focused on product launches and sustaining social media content.
