Hi Folks,
Hope you are doing well, I need valuable suggestion on few of my queries.
I had joined KPMG(KGS) on April 2022, during the interview i have been told that i would be working on Java Backend Development as my background belongs to same technology and my interview was also happened on Java/Spring/Microservices; but they put me on Low-Code / No code Platform and its totally tool based work. I am frustrated with the current work as i didnt find anything productive to learn.Continued in com KPMG @

AM is between Consultant and Manager. Plus, it’s a role within our CD&O track, which is delivery and not technically consulting. AMs will be staffed on consulting engagements, but typically responsible for managing a dev/technical team with minimal client interaction and no sales expectations
Eh, “bad” is subjective - it’s great if you want to be more of an independent contributor or want to manage technical aspects of a project. Promotions are more frequent but smaller increases until you get to Manager, then it starts to follow a similar trajectory as consulting. It’s also not an “up or out/elesewhere” model, so you can land somewhere if you’re happy with your comp and level of responsibility
Or buy crypto (XRP and/or XRM)
I think that is a low ball offer OP.
If you want to grow your career and compensation aggressively, then you want to be Client & Market and aligned to Consulting
You fed? That’s C level money at Deloitte consulting
It’s not TERRIBLE... any signing bonus? I’d probably try for 110-115 with 10% signing
Source: Currently a SM at ACN with counselees at the AM level
110 and 10 signing would be a solid offer for AM. Then take what’s left of the 10k after taxes and funnel the equivalent through the ACN ESPP
Seems awfully low to me. Then again, so does 95k for a SC.
I understood SC range in commercial consulting to be 90-160k
@D4 MBA hire SC’s come in at 150 in some service lines, after 2 years of raises you get 160...
I’m at 92k base as a consultant
I'm was fed, and that was high for c level when I was there.
Nope in tech commercial.. yes I know it’s pretty low as I joined 4 years ago as C with a salary of $78k.i was with TCS and was getting $65k that time
Is 105 for Associate Manger at Accenture is good. Don’t want to make the same mistake that I did when joining Deloitte
@SM1, I am pushing for 110...they offered 5k as signing bonus.
You’re getting better 401k matching and ESPP with ACN.
@Op I’ve heard bad things about CD&O at Accenture. Also very surprised they didn’t normalize a bit when getting SC level. I came in a bit low as C a year and half ago and got early promo to SC with a 26% raise...
You should negotiate, if you come as an associate manager at Accenture ask for more money- 120k and don’t move from that or ask for a manager title with 105k so next year they can pair you to the market range. Otherwise not worth making a move. I’m with accenture btw. Play your cards right
Omg I’m at $85k (3rd year SC in Advisory) 😭😭😭😭
