You rank somewhere between pond scum and the gum stuck to the bottom of my shoe.
Does your firm recognise senior as a level? Basically it’s the equivalent of a person in their 4th year with the firm who hasn’t been promoted. Usually you’d expect someone to do staff 1, staff 2, senior 1, senior 2 and then maybe senior 3/4 or AM. It could be possible that it’s a trial basis and you’ll be promoted to senior at the end of your probation, but if you’re coming in to the firm with prior experience I’d be having a conversation with your counsellor about where your career is heading
Yes the firm is EY. Im in advisory they said they want people to go through ACP for at least one year. Hopefully it’s the right philosophy
Well then I wouldn’t worry about it too much, just get an understanding of all the different levels and where you fit in, what’s next for you, what you have to do to get there etc. If they’re putting everyone through it then it might just be policy
It's the equivalent of staff 2. Next step is Sr. Every 6 months the firm will increase your bill rate (not your pay) and they bump you up to the next bill rates.
