I got offer in both JP (Associate - Backend) and CBA (Senior software engineer- Android). Both are offering same package for 8.11 years experience. However I had a bitter experience during JP salary discussion.

Trying to decide on the HDHP Health Insurance. Basic vs. Premium. Benefits says the two are equivalent in coverage except three differences - deductible $3K premium vs $3.5k basic, no monthly payment for basic and no $2K company contribution for basic HDHP. What am I missing here. Why would t one not go for basic as you are ahead by about $1K. Any explanations or thoughts?
