I got to the "loop" stage or final round with Amazon and the recruiter is working on finalizing the time/ date for my interview. They seem to reiterate in letting them know if I have any competing offers - any meaning behind this?

Have an interview with a company I really want to work for tomorrow. My last job I was laid off b/c of an acquisition&recently accepted a job at a diff company b/c I couldnt afford not to. I got this invite shortly after. The place I’m interviewing at the job wouldn’t start til next year. I dont want to seem like a job hopper. Do i tell them I’m at a new role or just not bring it up? The acquisition was public so they can see Im no longer employed with the most recent work history on my resume

Does anyone know the answer to this? - My first mortgage statement was generated on 11/2 with a due date of 12/1 and includes a month of interest based on the balance on 11/2. I made a principle only payment on 11/14 of $500 which was applied right away. Will the interest automatically recalc to reflect a lower outstanding balance for a portion of the month?
