I grossly underestimated the sheer number of people that have rich parents. I grew up poor and have to make it on my own. All these people I know are getting homes (in San Diego where it’s impossible) bc they have rich parents giving them $200-400k down payments, weddings paid for etc. Damn im poor

How hard is everyone pushing their corporate clients to authorize nonresident assignees whose only 2020 US compensation was the value of their 2019 tax preparation?
My clients are pushing back on it this year, and I can't say I blame them. If I were in their shoes, I'd rather take the risk of not filing than the expense of filing again. From my own point of view, I don't really want to spend my time on such returns, either, even if the revenue and easy return are nice.

Anyone else frustrated with the lack of follow through from potential employers? I have had two companies undercut my ability to have an equal chance to compete for a role. One company kept telling me a second interview would happen in a few weeks. Nothing for 3 months even with my check ins. To just find out the role was filled. Another company flat out said they couldn’t find my application (in their system where it was attached to job req number) and filled the role.
