I had an interview with Genpact for Data Engineer role, have cleared technical rounds, shared documents for HR discussion but after that no response from the HR, will they call or should I leave it.

Soon transferring from an advisory role (financing, FDD, consultancy, modeling etc) at a small boutique firm to a TAS role at BDO. Main clients are lower MM and MM PE as well as listed corporates.
Anyone with insight who could advice how to play my cards to end up in either PE or CorpDev?

1) Network - send out coffee chat emails to alums or any professional at the firms you want to apply to
2) Prep technicals, behaviorals
3) Insights/Diversity programs - look for any that are still open and apply ASAP if you qualify, they can lead to an accelerated interview process
4) Find when apps usually open

I was having a query and wanted your views on it. I have been working as a c++ developer for 2.5 years now but I don't want to continue in c++ and want to switch to java. Is it possible I can switch to java after having 2.5 years of working experience in c++?

My basic is 24 lakhs. So it will be 2.88 lakhs per year contribution just from my end.
Now some of the contribution will be taxed. Has someone done proper calculation related to this.
