What careers pay the best in the Uk?
Hello, what is working in retail banking like at JPMorgan Chase ? Specially the branch manager role. I’m looking in the Columbus area. How is pay, culture, benefits, sales environment, meetings, etc. How easy is it to transition from retail banking to corporate. I hear the Polaris campus has great opportunities, I was thinking about getting my foot in the door through retail then transferring to corporate ?

Fishes,
I attended for a round of interview with Microsoft and right after the interview (1 hour later) I recieved a call from recruiter which I didn't notice, so couldn't pick.
Now, recruiter is not picking my call or calling back. What should I infer from this? Was it call to reject or otherwise?
Please advice

From my experience as a new father, i can say your upcoming 1.5 year will be really tough. Physically , mentally and emotionally. And this will increase. You will not have enough sleep and your priority will change, thus you will not be able to focus on work. I assume you must now already have experience of this.Moving to a new city will be challenging.
My recommendation will be to keep the baby with the family, mother grandmother grandfather. Since you are getting 33 lpa , thus expectations from you are also based on your package. You have to work 12-14 hr now as new normal. Or take few break, use all your planned leave.
And congratulations 🎉🥳 for been a father. It will be an unforgettable experience.
Most of them.
Anyway it's not about the task you get.. it's how well you handle it. Some work lazy, some work hard, some work smart.
You need to define how much work you can do in certain hours. Need the hours and how you manage your job.
Fyi.. higher the salary, higher the expectation.

I would be jobless rather being employee of TCS, HCL, Wipro etc.
I can rethink about TCS if they pay me 40+ package after 1 year.

33 for 8.5 is not less. Any company paying that kind of salary will expect . Even product conpanies won't be easy

Pressure will be there.. especially when you expecting 30 and above.
