I had three interviews last week for three different companies.

I’ve moved to the next step for two of the three, with follow-up interviews later in the week. I really want one of them and that interview is Thursday. I am somewhat interested in the other.

However, the third job called this afternoon and offered me the position.

Ultimately, I think I would enjoy that position and wouldn’t regret going there, but I really want the one that I interview at on Thursday.

What do I do?

I’ve seen a lot of recruiters recently trying to hire for advisory consulting firms that claim they do the work that Big 4 can’t because of independence issues. Does anyone think these types of firms are sustainable or will big 4 find a way around the independence restrictions and take this work back?

Jumped from public to a job in a place run by boomers but I just wanted out of public so I took the first offer that came to me. 5 months in and I realized it's not a good fit at all. Mainly the CFO thinks no one should be working from home, and working from anywhere but the office is considered a day off to him. Is this a good reason to apply for other jobs right now?

I’ve been at my company for 10+ years. I’m not happy with the culture but have flexibility I enjoy, seniority for the time I’ve been here, and pays well. An new job opportunity came up as a Tax Manager but in a different industry which could expand my skillset in different ways, but is not as flexible and the pay is 20k lower. If I stay, I will be Director in few years. What will look better on a resume in the future, continued growth in 1 company or experience in more than 1 company?
