Outgoing introvert. People get confused because I am not shy, but the real delineation is whether being around people energizes or drains you.
People are the worst. But I feel like society wants me to be an extrovert and make goddamn stupid small talk
Introvert ... It grinds my gears hearing how are you all the time when you know they don't really care what you answer ... Just get to the point and leave 😅
audit senior 1 👏🏼 small talk is the WORST
Introvert
I have trouble deciding which category I fall under more. I see myself as both at different times. Depends on who I'm around.
Also an outgoing introvert! My best friends get me, but most people are really surprised when I tell them I'm an introvert. I try my best to clarify if asked, but otherwise, I don't let it bother me too much bc the people who matter to me understand, and that's enough for me.
Friendly introvert... I make small talks but prefer genuine interactions, "grabbing a drink" is not my thing, am avoiding office happy hours at all cost. It annoys me to social for the sake of social.
Whoever is saying they're an outgoing introvert doesn't truly understand what an introvert is. Being an introvert doesn't mean you're unable to socialize. It just means being around people drains you and you need alone time to recharge. I'm a major introvert, but have gotten really good at socializing to the point that, from time to time, I even organize social events. But then I need days to recover and recharge where I can't deal with a lot of pointless interactions. It's an extrovert's world out there. You've got to adapt.
Extrovert. I can't function unless im socializing and getting to know people.
Introvert surrounded by extroverts who judge me and they get vocal about it. Who cares what your likes and dislikes are and your husband wifes are nagging for?? Keep it home. Do your work n safe me the details for that "so often small talk".
Can somebody please tell me why do ppl say, i like to meet new people? Why do they need to meet new people. Ppl around them aint they good enough?
Definitely more of an introvert, but I like people once I get to know them. Takes a long time for me to do that though.
@Siegfried Group 1: um yes that's exactly what we mean by "outgoing introvert." We know how to socialize, might even like it to a certain degree, but at the end of the day, we're drained from our interactions and need time to recharge. Not sure if you saw STA1's comment?
Introvert, very self aware of how awkward I can be.
Ambivert?
+1 STA1. I always ask people what they'd rather do after a long day. Blow off steam with friends, or go home and recharge. And as an outgoing introvert, small talk can eat a bag of dicks!
I like to meet new people because you gain new prospectives and learn new things. I'm a Gemini so we like to socialize a lot. Knowing a lot of people has never hurt anyone before.
Introvert but I make small talk and am outgoing. I love shooting the breeze with coworkers every so often, but I do yearn for the privacy of an office when I need to get things done.
Intro, until pissed.
