I hate coding, I’m American born and raised, already worth $600k and want to switch into consulting, could I do man consulting or should I stick with tech consulting? I have bs’ed my way to this net worth by being a better communicator and better resume writer but I can’t keep up the charade. Has anyone here renegotiated their salary after a short time being in a role? I accepted a position and I like what I do but I realize that the workload requires a lot to see success and I feel a bit burned out already with my 40 hours/week and occasional extra 30 minutes to an hour a day.

So apparently accenture is making people who are on the bench enroll into a mandatory customer service role even if you’re 100% utilized. Friend took 3 weeks of PTO and has been on the bench for a few days and he is being forced. Worst part? It’s Tues-Saturday.
