6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I just spoke with paid family leave and I no longer qualify even though I had been paying into the program (thanks NY).. I already applied for unemployment but doctors are telling me I’ve got 10-14 weeks left in this pregnancy.. so stressed having twins and being unemployed, no maternity leave, no paychecks coming in, and I’ve been applying but not a single interview.. just ugh. 😭

Currently going through the hiring process for a role in San Francisco. They told me the starting base was $110K, but this sounds like pennies in a city like San Francisco! I no longer tell myself I want to be dead. Meds and therapy have helped. But I also seem to not care if I die or get a terminal illness or disease. Luggage delay claim question

I used Chase explorer to buy tickets for my vacation and luggages were delayed for a month. Per chase term I am entitled $100 a day for 3 days. But the claim agency chase used has been asking for airlines response, which has not came (2month+ now). I am concerned insurance will use this as an excuse to never compensate. Is there a good way to handle this situation?

Have some big trips planned for next year so I would like to upgrade my Delta gold AMEX to Platinum (need that MQD waiver 💸). I heard that if I upgrade I won’t get the 50k sign-up bonus miles, so should I just close my gold card (not my oldest card) and open a new Platinum one?

Looking for a Delta rewards card and was going to go with Amex, but internationally Amex isn’t widely accepted and I already have the Gold.
