I have a question for hiring managers. I see a role advertised in Product Management at another firm (externally via LinkedIn) that I will be applying to. It's a perfect fit for my experience, skillet,and aspirations.
I can identify the VPs/EDs in the team and I would like to reach out and introduce myself, share my CV, and express an interest.
I don't know any of them personally, and don't have any mutual connections.
Question - do people do this? Would this be considered a reg flag by some?

I hold an offer of 18LPA from KPMG with joining date of 7th September. (Wfh)
I applied at Workday on 15th May and went through 7 technical rounds of interview and received a verbal offer letter of 21LPA (hybrid)
Now apparently their technical panel "forgot" about the interview and wants to have a discussion again as 8th technical interview. HR says their joining date will be 19th September.

Did a first interview with hr rep, went very well. she set up the hiring manager meeting for a few days later. Met with the manager. Another great conversation, went over time and was told I’d hear back about panel set up. Following day I get a request from hr rep to “continue the conversation” with manager. This is set up Tuesday.
Why do you think the manager wants to meet again? Good? Bad? I felt great about the interview when we ended.
