Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

Do. Not. Uber. No matter how long google maps says it is, it’s always 1.5-2hrs, especially if you’re going to/from Times Square. LIRR is 20 mins to penn station
Take the lirr to midtown and see times square, take the subway downtown to see the memorial then take the E train all the way to jfk
If you can afford it use Blade to get from JFK to the city in about 5 minutes
Depends on the time. When are you landing. Around 7-9 am or 5-7pm probably a no go
D3 has the right approach. As a personal preference, I personally might do it the other direction taking E to 9/11 Memorial first, taking the 1 up to 50th and walking back down 7th Ave to Penn Station through TS to take the LIRR way back to JFK. It's harder to get turned around in Midtown vs downtown and it involves less backtracking if you want to wander anywhere above 42nd.

Don’t Uber. Use the subway
Uber from JFK is slightly over an hour each day in traffic
I personally think its a bit ambitious but if youre set on doing a quick driveby then it would work
Helicopter
Yes if you’re fast
I'm thinking of ubering to the memorial first then times Square on the way back, any idea what would make most sense first based on traffic?
Yup either one is fine to start with i think
Train for sure. The van wyck (autocorrect called it the van suck and that’s accurate) can be a parking lot anytime of day so don’t risk Uber
How long will I be on the train?
Probably 3hr in total to and from JFK and between 9/11 and TS. It sounds bad on paper, but you'd maybe save 15-20min each leg by car if the estimates are right, but as others have mentioned, traffic is a real crapshoot. (Although MTA delays are also no joke sometimes.)
Thankfully, both 9/11 and Times Square are places where you kind of just see it, get the atmosphere and some quick pics in under 30 min, if you're relatively quick about it. I might stick to one or the other if either you or your father want to linger and can't be rushed or if there are any mobility considerations.
