Hi Google - I am requesting guidance!
I am prepping for my interview specifically GCA and open ended questions. I struggle to tell if the outcome should be talking through your process/steps (maybe for a question like - how would you go about determining program complexity) vs a specific solution such as create x new product, for x market by x date based on my assumptions. Is the desired outcome something I can clarify with the interviewer?

You should always have the camera on for interviews. Body language matters, even when only your face is visible.
I would be prepared just in case. Why risk it?
I’d be on camera
Thats a trap they've set for you ☠
if you want the job why wouldn't you put your best face forward?
I interviewed for a new job virtually. My second round interview (which was video) the MD said “Oh you dressed up for this” and showed me his dog.
Just throw on a polo. If the interviewer has their camera on, turn yours on. If not, don't.
FWIW, I interview a lot of candidates and I often take it with no camera.
That would make me feel uncomfy as a candidate. You can’t just turn it on for interviews? I understand Zoom fatigue is a real thing, but this seems like a situation that should require it

You can turn off the camera, if preferred rejection. The rejection was silent.
Just did a round of interviews for manager with PwC myself, except it was with 2 directors and a MD. They all were wearing t shirts or a hoodie while I wore a suit, no pants of course (business on the top, party on the bottom). Felt overly dressed and even got that comment, but I feel like having the camera on gives a bit more humanity to the situation, so wearing a polo and having the camera on isn't the worst idea.
Thx fam. Got my shit together. Videoed in. Nailed the interviews. Let’s see how it goes in the new year.
