I have an NTS for BEC that expires 6/29. I’d rather get another NTS and take it a week later because I’m not close enough to pass if I sit the 29th. Extra layer of stress is that this is my last exam and I have to pass it by 7/10 or my FAR score will expire.. can I cancel my NTS? Do I have to wait until the score release for the window I didn’t sit for before I can get a new NTS?

That’s a pretty tight timeline. If I were you, I would take some time off work and focus on the exam. The next score release is 7/11, so even if you schedule the exam for tomorrow and no show, you won’t have enough time to get a new NTS (after the scores release). If you are able to cancel your current NTS, there’s still a delay in getting a new one and scheduling based on Prometric availability. Maybe try giving NASBA a call? BEC can definitely be passed if you get in a good week, good luck!

NTS are sent in like 3 or 4 days so you might be able to sit by 7/10. Good luck

I started a new job just 7 weeks ago, but an opportunity for a dream job just suddenly and unexpectedly fell into my lap! It’s a lot more money, more aligned with my career goals, and will have better work life balance. I’d be an idiot to not take this great new opportunity! That being said… I’m going to feel bad leaving this new job so soon. I’m sure they’ll be disappointed and maybe even angry… is there any way to NOT burn bridges on my way out of this current job?

So I recently left a really fun job where I was ridiculously underpaid for a very very boring job that gave me a pretty big pay rise.
