The JD shared during the interview says : Project Role Description : Assists with the data platform blueprint and design and Key responsibilities is a. Have others found it hard to transition from Audit to Financial Analyst? All the recruiters I’m meeting with are telling me I probably won’t get an interview since they’re looking for someone who’s ready to hit the ground running.

I have an informational interview with a Managing Director on Friday about a manager role. I currently serve in a client services role and do not have traditional consulting experience (billable hours, etc.). Got an offer from Kantar Consulting to work on their retail/cpg product.
Currently working with IBM with 10+ yoe having joined IBM 10 months back. Currently at 25 lpa and getting an offer of 32 fixed+15% variable.

Now my question is - Is it worth the gamble to leave IBM and join Kantar consulting which btw is known for market research and not consulting.
Also would leaving IBM after 1 year look bad on CV?

The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada).
