Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

I am seeing stellar returns and extremely low expense ratios but apparently since they're quantitatively managed algorithms, they don't account for things like corona for example.

Absolutely NOT. 15% is not enough for all the stress tied with consulting

I wouldn’t worry about the split at managers level..
It all depends on what practice you go to and what project you get staffed on is what will make or break your experience. 15% is also 🗑️ for the load you get daily.
The split is a good thing for consulting
Wouldn’t the split be a good thing?

I would let go to EY right now with all the uncertainty
Stay in your industry job and negotiate a higher salary. Say “I was approached by a company with a 15% increase. Can you match?”

I wouldn’t leave from industry to consulting for 15% lol. 25% and up is really where you need to be looking
EY just had a dismal call the other day from what I’ve heard. They also just cancelled holiday bonuses.
Probably not where I would want to go. Industry is safer right now.
this is just entirely not true from someone who works here
don't do it
