The entitled/ungrateful fear is something companies benefit from you feeling. Asking to be fairly compensated for work you're already doing is not ungrateful. It's professional. My approach was keeping a running list of things I'd taken on that weren't part of my original role and bringing that list to my annual review. Makes it feel less "I want more money" and more "this is what you're getting for what you're paying."
You're coming up on the time to ask for a raise. If you get an evaluation at the one year mark that would be the time to bring it up. Or you could just bring it up in a conversation with your manager. Your experience growing in the job is exactly what you want to talk about, make it about how you're a more valuable worker now than you were when your pay was originally decided.

After a year in a role, sounds like it’s time to get a raise anyway. Make sure to highlight your growth, your accomplishments in all of your contributions. In order to legitimize getting a raise, they’ll be looking for specific reasons why you deserve one.

Just frame everything you have achieved, how the business has benefitted from your works and what you can continue to bring to the table. Confidence is key and remember it's a negotiation once it starts don't settle for their first offer!

That feeling is so normal. Framing it around your contributions and results, rather than just needing more money, usually works best. Keep it factual and professional, show the growth and added responsibilities, and it won’t feel like entitlement.
