I have been trying really hard to break into consulting firms at an associate level. But conditions doesn't seem very favourable. To tackle it, I have strategised my approach more towards applying for consulting internships. I have completed my graduation in September and has an almost three years of exp in Tech, Financial services and Business Development (Saas). In the whole process, I am lacking motivation and have been self-doubting for a while now. How do I come up from this?

For TCS, if anyone joins as Systems Engineer Grade C1 with 3.5 years of experience, approx how much experience is needed to get promoted for IT Analyst ? And how much hike will be given?

Looking for advice (& empathy): Started out in advertising, then became a journalist. Moved to the US for grad school, and back to advertising few years ago. Is it common at McKinsey for partners to be heavily involved in projects? I work in industry and I’m on a project now where a Senior Partner and Partner are on most our calls and seem very involved in delivery. The EM takes point on the deck but less on client relationships. I used to work at Big 4 and honestly our partners were rarely involved.
