Feeling a bit deflated. The pandemic has taught us that working remotely produces a lot more work than coming into the office. My company recently categorized EAs as support staff, therefore, the WFH nor the Hybrid doesn't applies to us. When asked why the sudden shift, the bullocks response was.. "when persons walked the floors, the place was a ghost town"
So, is it that you need me to tell you that John is WFH?! Make it make sense pls!
Mentor
I see some move into procurement roles, analyst roles, sometimes even chief of staff
I know some EAs work their way up to being Senior EAs, Chief’s of Staff, Scrum Masters, or Project Manager’s. All great careers and being an EA gives you so many transferable skills and it pairs nicely with all of the careers above when getting certifications etc.
