I have been working in a big 4 consulting for 8 years. Recently, I got an offer from boutique consulting firm with 26% hike on fixed pay. I’m getting a role upgrade too, but the same is also expected in the big 4. Should I join this new firm, considering I’ll be losing out on benfits of a large MNC?

I received offer from two companies, MPHASIS(in Hyderabad) and Optimum Info System(as Cosultant for Shell India in Banglore). Optimum Info System offered 2.5L more CTC than Mphasis and ROLE is the same.

Which one would you opt considering that Mphasis is a bigger company(terms of employee count) than either Optimum Info System or Shell ?.

What are the best responses for “a time when you led a team” in a consulting interview, for someone who has not had a managerial position (1 yoe) before? I also don’t want to use an example from undergrad so I’m kind of stuck. What are they really looking for in this question? Initiative? Impact? People skills? what will be the inhand salary of 17 lakh 50 thousand , thats include 10% variable pay.
