Hi Everyone !!!
This June I completed my 9 months at Career Level 12 and Sub Level 3 I.e, CL 12.3 at Accenture Operations. My Annual Talent Discussion and One-on-One with People Lead is complete as of last week.
I have 3 questions now :
1. When can I expect to move to 12.2 ?
2. What is the general hike I can expect ? And when it is reflected ?
3. When will be the variable pay will be paid out ?
Can anyone here help me with this performance cycle part ? I am really confused.

Guys , whoever is interviewing and planning to join , do ask project availablity on priority basis before you take decision. On Java front looks like there is some project issue due to recent slowdown in market. My offer was not revised even after agreement with recruiter because of this.

Hi everyone!
I've been offered a job at Publicis Sapient as a front-end developer (React Js).
What kind of work culture, work load and tech stack exposure should I be expecting?
I'm having 1 year experience.
I've also got offers from IndiaMART InterMESH Limited, Amdocs, Verizon and Collegedunia.
All for the role of front-end web developer.
I'm very confused between all of them.

Rising Star
Positives: solid pay, mostly wfh
Negatives: Hire and Fire ( i , along with 20 colleagues were laid off( forceful resignation)due to role saturation, no projects), layoff is not based on performance, worst hr and staffing partners, forcing employees to take another tech domain and not the one they r hired for, short term projects.
Overall pretty bad organisation
I also had a similar experience with HR and staffing .project r short-term projects. and will force u to take another domain if not accepted be ready to get fiereed
Rising Star
Positive is for sapient business only not for employees
Positive:
1. Decent Pay
2. Flexible Work Atmosphere - Work from Anywhere
3. Easy to reach people
4. Some very exciting strategic projects
5. Great WLB ( Depends Project to Project)
6. No Appraisals as such
Cons:
1. Lesser Projects compared to the big firms
2. Lack of personal touch due to remote working
3. Bureaucratic Promotion System
4. Some projects are very boring
In fishbowl I have heard that they are aggressive in firing freshers primarily in engineering discipline but that is common for a boutique consulting firm.
Rising Star
For hire and fire 🔥
Positives:
1. Decent Pay
2. Flat hierarchy and everyone is reachable
3. WFH
4. Lots of focus in learning
5. Opportunities to work on intiatives and also have some fun activities
6. Most projects are short term and transformative in nature and not support or maintenance related. Thus you learn a lot more.
Cons
1. The constant threat of firing if you are in bench and as the projects are short term every 1/2 years you will be in bench 3/4 weeks at least
2. Bureaucratic promotion process
3. To get visibility you need to go out of your way even if you are doing great work with client doesn’t matter much
4. Some projects especially for product craft is extremely boring
All are true
Yup pretty much summed up aptly by everyone
Publicis Sapient is a good company for the reasons below.
1. Good pay ( at par with market standards)
2. Flexi work ( almost permanent wfh without anyone bothering you about coming to office )
3. Great learning opportunities within projects and accounts. Mostly face paced and leveraging on new tech and market leader approaches
4. Great leadership team across accounts. I have worked with 3 and found at least 2 of them being real memorial experience with LT
5. Focus on client value and not on bureaucracy. Appreciations come from the impact and great work you do for clients
6. Open opportunities to pick initiatives and work on new stuff based on interests like POVs, RFPs etc.
I do not disagree on some of the points mentioned above, but just sharing something that i have noticed in the 1.5 yrs that I have been with Sapient.

Good pay when you join and post that lot of shit happens
unstable project these days as projects and ppl being rolled off frequently in 3 months
Termination happened for the ppl bcz no billing was available
Poor hiring management
Their projects are very short term. Seem to be picked from freelancing websites.
SLA 1 Technology at 34 LPA?
Worth it?
Exp:5.5 years
Job security?
They would fire after a month stating no project
Baaki samajhdar ko ishara kaafi
positive: only fixed salary part apart from this I didn't find any things overall not ok, stay away from this hell place...
