I have my first AI interview coming up and I’m not going to lie, I’m a little nervous. No recruiter, just my video and a timer counting down. It feels like I will be talking to an algorithm instead of a person. For those who have done one, how did you prep? Did you focus more on structure, keywords, eye contact, or energy? Any advice before I hit start?

I have seen these reward structure and clarity more than charisma. I would focus on concise STAR style answers, clear pauses, and steady delivery. Keywords matter, but calm pacing and finishing within time matter more than energy.

Thanks for the advice I will practice the STAR method and keep a steady calm pace.

Sorry can’t help here, I had one of these several years ago and I don’t think it was AI, just asynchronous, but it felt very uncomfortable. How can I have a conversation if I am just answering questions on video? I refuse these types of “interviews”

Be clear, and I would say straightforward when answering. It’s not too bad, but definitely odd if it’s your first. You don’t have to answer like a robot. However, you can’t expect nuance to be understood either.

Practice with AI to beat AI only suggestions that matter for you!

It was fun and it felt somewhat better than talking to a human. I did a technical interview.

Hi, fishes.
A quick query here.

I'm going to move from non IT profile to IT profile. Basically I'll be applying as front end engineer in new company. Previously I was working in a BPO profile.
Just wanted to ask if I'll be provided training in my initial months as a front end engineer or am I expected to work from the very first day.
Your comments will be really helpful.

Thank you.

Does anyone recommend working in high pressure better salary(WFH IC Engineer role in a relatively big Financial services firm, but working hands of on many things that builds pressure) vs

job 2 or atleast offer (Senior Manager 3 days a months in office( Banking firm) minimum, people manager for 24/7 infra operations teams and new project)taking a salary cut of 8k in base and with better WLb( hr) says so in interview. I am too confused. On job security we all know we can't guarantee anything.

I currently own the entire (long) sales cycle from prospecting to account management. I’d like to stay in a similar role in another company. Told my expected CTC and she seemed a bit surprised but didn't negotiate and asked if I have any other offers? I asked when can I expected the OL, she said within a week but didn't take any documents. Can I expect the OL?
