Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

I have put down my papers and LWD is 18 Aug 2022, 30 days since in probation period and also the resignation is accepted by HR and in the portal it's showing as Actual reliving date as 18 August 2022.
I see resignation approval is still pending from L1 manager will this get auto approved if not how this can be a impact for me ? And how to deal with this situation since I'm in bench from the day I have joined wipro 5 months and don't know anyone here. Wipro

Only reason for extending the np would be if you’ve taken any leaves during notice period, otherwise they got nothing on you
You can drop an email to manager and HR, saying since your LWD is approaching, pls confirm what KT I should provide abd to whom. Just add you are looking for a smooth exit and want to support in any KT activities.
If the employer is unable to hire someone as your replacement, then it is not your fault. So the company can't extend your NP. But good point is here. If they are unable to find your replacement and if you have good dependency in your project, then may be they will try to retain you with high package.
Same here they didn't call me. I called hr and discussed. They can't extend lwd don't worry.
