I here to say use your PTO! Take that time off and enjoy your time! I’m loosing 45hours of PTO and 15hours of floating holiday. I’m almost always at work, when I request days off I end up over working so my PTO isn’t used. My PTO refresh next week and I vow to take my days off.
Do you overwork like me or do you take full advantage of your PTO?

PSA: it’s better to use all your vacation and then quit vs taking the payout. I just got cucked.

I accepted a new job, they said PTO was “generous.” I find out it’s 19 days a year of PTO (which includes sick days). I have two young children and we like to vacation 1-2x a year (no more than a few days away each time). Am I crazy that this is pretty limited time off? 8 of the normal holidays off during the year (working the week between Christmas and NYE). Thoughts? I dont know if lack of PTO is a good reason to back out, is it?

Do we observe a holiday on 1st November?

I'm 6 months old at D! Planning early promotion next year.. counselor and pm both are backing me.. I need to go to India for at least 4 weeks in Dec ... most probably would be rolling off from current project by then .. would this vacation hurt my promotion chances coz of utilization etc?

I am currently into the SAP Security domain and I absolutely do not have any interest in it. I am planning to shift to development and have started on some courses on my own.

My question is, is there any future prospects in SAP UI5 and Fiori? Since my background is in SAP, I assume it will make a domain switch easier.
