I interviewed for the Design Engineer role at VWITS, with two interviews in late August and late September 2024. Both interviews went well, and the interviewers were professional and thorough. However, I’ve yet to receive any updates on the next steps. Despite following up with HR, there has been no response regarding the outcome or further process. Any insight into the usual timeline would be appreciated.

Hearing a lot about a recession happening at EOY. I am currently at Dell and have only been there for 7 months amd hate it. Had final interviews with Meta and Amazon this week. Would it be smart to move to either of these companies knowing a recession is coming?

Went from a big firm to work for a smaller firm. The people in the smaller firm are protective of their work and are good by their work too. I no longer feel chaos or stress. I am treated with respect and my schedule is more normal. I am even working more billable hours than before, but it feels like a seamless experience. I don’t work then past 5pm or anything out of the ordinary for this time of the year. I am so grateful!
