Do Canadian firms have any interest in hiring American JDs given the market and that Canadian associates are moving to the US?

Good morning everyone! I am currently working as an Occupational Therapist at a Level 1 center but am looking to pivot into the clinical research field. Can anyone give any insight into transitioning from bedside to clinic research? Everytime I look online there seems to be certificate programs that may or may not be a scam/waste of money. Would appreciate any thoughts, insight, personal experience, referral., etc.!

Hi guys, I have got one full time job for 14LPA from 10.5LPA in Coforge for BA role. On the other hand, I have one more offer for Canada and the job is on 2 years contract basis with 80k CAD per annum where I have to sign 2 years agreement as well that I can’t back out once I get the offer. I was interested to go CA but scared in terms of job security, economic slowdown and a big change. Is it worth going to CA on contract basis job declining the full time opportunity in India.

Those of you who left for industry, what do you work towards in your role? I was reflecting on my time in public and there was always something, whether it was a new section in the file, getting more client contact, getting invited to a big golf outing, running the jobs, managing the jobs, etc. I worry that leaving would leave me bored and not motivated to hit any sort of goal. My company is adopting Scrum and hiring a bunch of agile coaches to assist with sprints. We got assigned our agile coach that'll be starting soon.

I read a description of what this role is supposed to be for and it sounds like they'll be leading Scrum ceremonies. So they run the planning meeting, the retrospective and daily stand ups. Up to now, I've been doing those and it's taken a total of like 2 hours a week of my time.

What on earth do agile coaches do with the other 95% of their time?
