I just completely bombed my interview with McKinsey. I don’t even know if there is room for redemption for my next interview. Would it be bad if I emailed the person who interviewed me and asked this? If I don’t even have a chance anymore, isn’t it in everyone’s best interest to let me know now so that I don’t waste the second interviewer’s time?

I attended a client interview last week and was selected for the same. Now they are asking to join within a day or two. I'm having my mom's surgery this week. How to safely refuse to join this client project for at least 10 days. I can't take leave for 10 days.
Can anyone please help me with this? I'm confused and scared.

Do large law firms really recieve enough applications for a position that they cannot follow up when someone reaches out to check on thier application? I get that if you have to reach out, they probably weren't interested anyways, I'm just curious why there is a practice of just leaving applicants in the wind. And also, how does one go about finding out why they were rejected, if thier qualifications are "impressive"?

I owned a business for 6 yrs and had a B2C sales role for 3 yrs after (not SaaS). I’ve now been a B2B2C Key Account Manager at a Fitness Tech scale up for 6 mos and would like to be making more $ so am considering applying to other B2B SaaS companies. I currently own the entire (long) sales cycle from prospecting to account management. I’d like to stay in a similar role in another company. Will I have a difficult time landing an SDR/BDR, AE or CSM role elsewhere? I’m a 48 yo female.
