I am currently working at Meta as a Recruiting Coordinator under contract. That contract will soon come to term in July. There hasn’t been any talks about extending my contract, so I am getting very nervous about potentially being out of work in July. I am a first gen corporate worker, and I have about 5 years of experience in recruitment. My partner and I are looking to move from NYC to Dallas in 2022. I’m in big law and he is a public interest lawyer. I can easily transfer within my firm, but he’s having trouble pinning down public interest opportunities in Dallas. It seems like they’re less available than NYC, but also not sure if we just aren’t looking in the right places. He currently does housing work but is passionate about civil rights and public benefits generally. Any tips on how to come by public interest opportunities?

Deciding on a career path

I feel like my brain works like a consultant, and I would enjoy consulting, but I also looove all things finance & investing. While I don’t necessarily have extensive experience in the field (most of what I know is self taught, my major is accounting), I want to get involved in it somehow and learn more.

I currently work in audit, I’m not sure what exit opportunities are an option for me for the investing/finance industry. Feel like chances are are slim. Any advice?

I have offer from Accenture with 15.5 LPA with 21percent VPA including 3.25 L variable pay. The pay is for Level 10 and domain is SAP, YOE is 4.6. So what is the pay range for Level 10 and I do have counter offer so can I negotiate further with Accenture.

Has anyone found a way to automate salary certifications?

We get about 3-5 requests daily to fill out salary certifications for our employees in EMEA.

At the moment, we have to do all of them manually. We open a pdf, then open their employee file and plug away. It's tedious and time-consuming, but the banks I found won't accept an internal salary certification for some reason. They're adamant about using their form. Has anyone come across this?

I’ve had a really tense, emotionally exhausting week. Things wrapped up yesterday and now my body feels so strung out and exhausted. I couldn’t get an internship while in school. I have a BS in ME and projects from school under my belt. I’ve also passed the FE exam. I’ve been mostly just doing CAD for a company for the last year by creating minimally dimensioned drawings and moving parts around in assemblies. I want to evolve in my career and be doing more. I worked so hard to earn my degree and I feel like I’m not even using it. But who will hire me?
