I just graduated and can officially call myself a mechanical engineer! I can't find a job yet but don't want to lose hope. What certifications would improve my chances of securing a good placement?

Well there is a part time job that pays really good just send me a dm let’s have a chat

Hey hit me up for the part time

Try honeywell in Kansas City, Missouri

Wow congrats to you OP. I am actually from Kansas City originally so I would also recommend Honeywell. I have several friends who work there and they can't say enough good things about the company.

I think first you should chose "What level and place that I want?"As a Mechanical Engineer there are 3 way,
1-Designing
2-Maintenance
3-Managing
Then find your interest.
Finally we can help you what course or certificate that you have.

Hi Everyone,

I am currently working at Meta as a Recruiting Coordinator under contract. That contract will soon come to term in July. There hasn’t been any talks about extending my contract, so I am getting very nervous about potentially being out of work in July. I have also recently finished my Masters in HR Management, so I wanted to jump on here and see if anyone has any tips for landing a new role?

My partner and I are looking to move from NYC to Dallas in 2022. I’m in big law and he is a public interest lawyer. I can easily transfer within my firm, but he’s having trouble pinning down public interest opportunities in Dallas. It seems like they’re less available than NYC, but also not sure if we just aren’t looking in the right places. He currently does housing work but is passionate about civil rights and public benefits generally. Any tips on how to come by public interest opportunities?

Deciding on a career path

I feel like my brain works like a consultant, and I would enjoy consulting, but I also looove all things finance & investing. While I don’t necessarily have extensive experience in the field (most of what I know is self taught, my major is accounting), I want to get involved in it somehow and learn more.

I currently work in audit, I’m not sure what exit opportunities are an option for me for the investing/finance industry. Feel like chances are are slim. Any advice?

Anyone go from SaaS / licensing sales to services (strategy & implementation) sales?

I'm thinking of moving from large cap tech to large cap consultancy firm to help build the resume and round out my experience. I enjoy and do well in licensing, but I'm fairly young in my career (<6 years) and received a great offer to make the move.

Big fan of the org and team I'll be joining as well.

Thanks!!

Has anyone found a way to automate salary certifications?

We get about 3-5 requests daily to fill out salary certifications for our employees in EMEA.

At the moment, we have to do all of them manually. We open a pdf, then open their employee file and plug away. It's tedious and time-consuming, but the banks I found won't accept an internal salary certification for some reason. They're adamant about using their form. Has anyone come across this?
