I just had my one year anniversary with a company that I started out to be just a part time job. I'm now a "full-time" employee without a single paycheck but multiple. The company has me as a W2 employee from one location and a 1099 employee from 5 of the other LLC branches. I was told in May of last year, I would start to receive 1 paycheck instead of 6. That never happened. He claims that each site is its own entity. Yet the maintenance guys get one check and they visit all the sites. ??

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks. What is a fair salary/hourly for a kitchen manager in Tampa FL? Small kitchen with 3 to 4 kitchen assistants. Kitchen is open 50 hours a week. Manager has full creative license and has no one above them in the chain of command outside of owners.
