I just moved to the UK and work for a university in research, I got my first payslip and next to tax it says 0, so I haven’t paid any tax? Is this correct or am I missing something

Yes it probably is because you are still within the personal allowance (£12,570). Once your income exceeds that amount you will pay tax

Hey ZSers,

I have been selected into ZS for the BTAC role under CCM(Customer-Centric Marketing). My YOE is 3.8 in Cognizant, and the domain is ETL, DW, cloud(AWS).

My question is, ZS is giving a great package compared to what I have in Cognizant (Above 100% hike), and Cognizant is ready to retain me by giving somewhere 50%-60% hike. Will ZS be a good choice for me to switch? In terms of growth, technologies, work, pay. Or should I accept what cognizant is giving and get retained?
