I just started a role last month but a role I’m more interested popped up at a company I was interviewing at in March. I don’t want to seem like a job hopper because I truly am not one. This role more clearly aligns with my personal and career goals. Is it a bad look to reach out if the other one may have disappeared because of COVID? Is the risk worth the reward?

Hi i lost majority of my money in the stock market. I married and promised my family that I will not make the mistake I made 7 years ago. Gambling. Is this an addiction I have. I keep selling stocks and taking loses buying other stock hoping it will recover but never did and sell again taking loses and buy again. It now sink in to me. Anyone deal with this before: I inherited a severely under developed team including a sr analyst who clearly was doing the bare minimum, if that.
