I keep seeing roles described as “Seasonal Audit (Senior) Associate” pop up on LinkedIn from some of the larger firms (both B4 and midsize). I’m curious as to what this entails - I assume it’s a busy season contractor. It sounds like a useful role in theory but im trying to think of experienced professionals who would have the time to do this outside of people re-entering the workforce after some time away.

Anyone have any insight or stories into how these roles work out?

Does anyone have family members who constantly demand money because they feel like you’re rich now because you’re a lawyer? I’ve always wanted to be in a position to help my family but we all live in the high COL city so my salary doesn’t carry me as far as it would elsewhere. I’ve given a detailed summary of all of my expenses yet every month one family member in particular comes to me for rent money (not some, the full amount, and they refuse to get a job). It has become quite the burden.

If I take extended sick leave, i.e. 3 months, do future employers look at this? I want to take a break from ACN because of burnout, but dont want it to be an issue if I change roles in the next year or so?

What are the differences between digital marketing (paid social and search) and product marketing? thinking I want to pivot to the latter but am not sure what skills are different.
