I keep seeing that it's best to job hop in white-collar businesses. Is this true for customer service? (I'm only trying to work remote as well)

Why do they say it's best to job hop? To increase salary? I wonder if there is still a counter-argument to that.. like I wonder if some employers still value seeing that you've been at the same job for 3+ or 6+ years. The hiring manager at my company doesn't seem to appreciate when people have 3 different jobs in the last 3 years. Just something to think about..

The only way to give yourself a substantial raise every couple years is to job hop, you find someone new that's excited about your talent and experience willing to pay for it.

It's been hard finding a remote job for customer service lately. I also don't think job hopping applies the same to CS.

I think that job hopping will get you big gains in fields that have a very high ceiling, like tech. Job hopping can make you more money, but I’d imagine the ceiling isn’t very high in customer service.

Remote work is a limiting factor. If you insist on only remote work, you will be further limited in your job choices, and therefore your possible salary choices.

Also, I'm considering bringing my drone even tho I know I can't take it into any of the sacred places like Machu picchu. I also have to register it with customs when I get into the country. Is it still worth taking? I can use it around Cusco and Lima

Hello Guys,

I joined
Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?

As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.
