I left the US 2 years ago during my first year of H1B and am currently trying to move back. But given the current political climate, do you think I have a better chance since new H1Bs are harder to get for companies, or is the situation terrible for anyone, don’t ever try? What’s your opinion?

Everyone says Geico car insurance is cheap . However for me it is most expensive. I went for Allstate/State farm which were cheaper than Geico. Am I missing something?

Why do recruiters never tell you which agency they want to talk to you about until they get you on the phone? Why if you are on H1B is so much problematic for vendors looking for contractors ? Vendors keep on asking to join on W2 rather that Corp to Corp although for employees on H1B we cannot join on W2 due to immigration issues. Point being does it matter for end client , if the contractor is coming as W2 or not ?

My firm has applied for my L1A visa. If that gets denied, my plan is to travel to Canada and re enter US immediately on B1/B2 visa (already have valid B1/B2 stamp) so that I'll get time to figure out things here in the US (sell my stuff, handle my bank accts etc).
