I agree, those are all really good pointers that any leader should strive to achieve. I personally really like #5 about how leaders need to get out of the way, it's so true that we are supposed to provide direction for our employees and allow them to work on and meet their goals on their own. When I was younger my least favorite managers were people who were always looking over my shoulder and not allowing me to do anything on my own.
I love this and I think it's completely legitimate. I have always been the "squeaky wheel" as my mom would say, but asking for things has always got me very far. I think that people who don't try to make anything happen are never going to move up. Obviously if you ask for more you get rejected for more, but you also end up winning more. Be fearless!
